What does a speech therapy session consist of?
Our sessions consist of a structured play-based therapy approach. In preparation of each session, the therapist will choose activities that target your child's speech and language goals. Sessions typically have a beginning, middle, and an end. The therapist will explain the sessions objectives, work with the child, and review strategies and/or any homework that may be given.
How much does therapy cost?
Currently, we are vendorized through the regional center. In addition to Alta Regional center we accept private pay. In order to maintain a high standard of care, we have a limited capacity and prioritize providing quality service to a select number of clients. How long are sessions?
What is your clientele?
At Speech Galore, sessions are anywhere from 40-60 minutes. This provides sufficient time for a therapist to teach and practice a skill, while also engaging and maintaining a child's focus and interest.
In addition, we offer services to pediatrics birth-18 years old. If you are in need of a speech therapist for a family member 18+, we offer cognitive communication, social skills, and language therapy for adults too. Contact us to find out more information.
